2. Who Can Use Hike

• Candidates may use Hike to search for roles, apply to opportunities, and manage their career profile.

• Companies and Recruiters may use Hike to post roles, review applications, and communicate with candidates.

• Users must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts and Security

• Access to Hike requires creating an account on our platform.

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

• Hike is not liable for any loss or damage caused by unauthorised access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. Use of the Platform

• You agree to use Hike for lawful purposes only.

• You must not misuse the platform, attempt to interfere with its operation, or extract data outside the permitted functions.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

5. AI and Data Use

• To improve the quality of matches, Hike uses AI technology that analyses candidate and job data.

• By using the platform, you consent to your profile, job posts, and platform interactions being used as training data to enhance our matching algorithms.

• Data is handled responsibly and in line with our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

• All screens, images, branding, design elements, and content displayed on Hike are the exclusive property of Hike.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use Hike’s materials without our express written permission.

• Any unauthorised use may result in legal action.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Hike provides its services “as is” and makes no guarantee of continuous, uninterrupted access.

• We are not responsible for the outcome of any hiring process, job offer, or employment relationship made through the platform.

• Our liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount paid (if any) for using the platform in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time.

• Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.

• Continued use of Hike after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
